Do not release

The body is not presented.
It is contained.

Every gesture functions as a restriction,
a hand that interrupts, a posture that resists expansion.

Nothing unfolds freely.
Movement is reduced to control, to regulation, to holding.

The surface suggests softness, but the structure denies it.
What appears fluid is under constant pressure.

This is not an image of femininity.
It is an image of retention.

Something is there, close to emergence,
but never allowed to exist.
